RAMADEVARA BETTA (RAMAGIRI)

Ramadevara Betta, also known as Ramagiri, is a culturally and spiritually significant hill set in the rocky landscape of Ramanagara. Linked to the Ramayana, it is believed to be one of the places associated with Lord Rama’s exile.

 The climb is moderately easy and suitable for beginners. The summit offers wide views of surrounding hills and villages, and the area is also part of a protected vulture conservation zone, making it ideal for birdwatching and nature photography.

THIMMAPPANA BETTA & TEMPLE

Located about 22 km away, Thimmappana Betta is home to the Shri Bettada Thimmappa Swamy Temple at its peak. The hill and temple together form a peaceful spiritual destination in the Ramanagara district.

Often visited as a short hike and temple outing, this betta is also a popular weekend escape from Bengaluru. The quiet drive and gentle climb make it perfect for a calm morning or evening visit.

REVANA SIDDESHWARA BETTA

Just 3 km from Mangoscape, Revana Siddeshwara Betta is a striking monolithic hill rising to about 3,066 feet. It is known for the ancient Sri Revana Siddeshwara cave temple at the summit.

The climb includes three temples along the way and is steep in parts but highly rewarding. From the top, visitors enjoy dramatic views of the town, rocky landscapes, and open skies, along with a strong sense of spiritual and historical presence.

HANDI GUNDI BETTA

Handi Gundi Betta is a scenic hill located on the Bengaluru–Mysuru route near Ramanagara, named after a local folklore story.

The trek is easy to moderate and beginner-friendly, passing through farmland, forest patches, and rocky trails. The top offers a beautiful 360-degree panoramic view of nearby hills and open countryside, making it especially popular for sunrise treks.
